The Bosch B600 is a ZONEX retrofit module that brings legacy ZONEX devices onto current Bosch control panels. Specifically, it connects existing ZONEX field wiring to B9512G and B8512G panels. As a result, you keep installed ZONEX devices when you upgrade the panel.
Bosch B600 capabilities
The module communicates with the control panel through a proprietary connection. In addition, it supports two ZONEX busses. Each bus handles up to 15 D8128D modules and/or up to 8 D8129 Octo-relay modules. It operates at 12 VDC and accepts 12 to 24 AWG wiring.
Installation is straightforward. First, remove the existing ZONEX terminal strip from the old panel. Then insert that same strip onto the B600. Finally, mount the module inside the panel enclosure or an adjacent approved enclosure. Therefore retrofitting existing ZONEX devices takes minimal rewiring.
