The Notifier FST-951R-IV is an intelligent thermal heat detector with an ivory, low-profile housing. It uses FlashScan and CLIP communication. As a result, it reports heat conditions to Notifier intelligent fire alarm panels.
Notifier FST-951R-IV Detection Modes
A thermistor sensing circuit drives fast, accurate heat detection. Furthermore, the FST-951R-IV is field-programmable at the control panel. You can set it three ways. First, as a 135°F fixed-temperature sensor. Then, as a rate-of-rise plus 135°F fixed sensor. Alternatively, as a 190°F high-temperature sensor.
Addressing and Listing
Rotary decimal switches assign each address without tools. In addition, the detector communicates over a two-wire SLC loop. It is UL 521 listed for heat detectors. As a result, it provides open-area protection at up to 50-foot spacing.
The ivory housing keeps a discreet, low-profile look. Therefore, it suits offices, schools, healthcare sites, and similar commercial spaces.
