The Potter Electric Signal HUB-M is a single-button hold-up switch for security and surveillance applications. First, it provides DPDT contacts that activate surveillance cameras or hold-up alarms. As a result, bank tellers and retail staff have a discreet panic button at the counter. Furthermore, the HUB-M is UL and ULC listed for hold-up protection.
Potter Electric Signal HUB-M operating modes
The HUB-M ships configured for momentary operation. However, integrators may convert it to latching operation in the field. Specifically, the kit includes an alternate latching cap that replaces the momentary cap. Once installed, the latching mechanism aligns under the latching ramp in the cover.
To unlatch the device after activation, insert a pocket screwdriver or paperclip into the reset hole. Then, the unit unlatches when the cap is released. Therefore, the HUB-M supports both reset workflows without rewiring.

The HUB-M is not recommended for outdoor use or for installation in coolers and freezers.
