The Hochiki R2MH is an addressable dual-relay module for DCP-protocol fire alarm panels. It provides two independently controlled Form C contacts per SLC address.
First, the R2MH receives a control command over the SLC loop from the host panel. Then it actuates one or both internal relays based on its programmed configuration. As a result, a single SLC address can drive two separate auxiliary circuits.
Hochiki R2MH Contact Ratings
Specifically, the R2MH handles higher loads than the R2ML version. In addition, mechanically latching relays hold their state without a separate 24 VDC source. However, an R2MH-I variant is available when SLC short-circuit isolation is required.
