The Altronix RB1224 is a general-purpose DPDT relay module. It is selectable for 12VDC or 24VDC coil operation.
First, set SW1 to choose the coil voltage. Open SW1 for 24VDC. Close SW1 for 12VDC. Then connect the supply to POS (+) and NEG (–). As a result, both relays energize when the input voltage is applied.
The board provides two DPDT (Form C) dry contact sets. Therefore, you can switch two independent loads from one trigger. Each contact set is rated 5A at 220VAC or 28VDC.

- Polarity reversal for legacy phone-line and signaling circuits

Application Notes
The Altronix RB1224 is a board-level interface relay. It is not itself a UL-listed fire alarm device. Therefore, when used in a fire alarm or life-safety system, the host panel must accept an unsupervised external relay. In addition, the installer must confirm the listing of the host equipment and follow NFPA 72 wiring rules for that panel.
