The Edwards WG4WN-SVMC is an outdoor-rated wall- or ceiling-mount speaker-strobe combination appliance. Specifically, it is the white-housing, no-marking, multi-candela, dual-voltage model in the Genesis WG4 weatherproof family.
First, the WG4WN-SVMC provides combined audible (25 VRMS or 70 VRMS speaker) and visual (multi-candela strobe) notification for exterior or wet-location applications. Then its weatherproof construction protects the device in exposed conditions. As a result, it can serve as a single-point notification appliance where both voice/tone audible and strobe visual signaling are required outdoors.

The 15 cd setting is the lowest. Furthermore, the 29 cd, 70 cd, and 87 cd settings step up the visual coverage area. Choose the setting per the NFPA 72 spacing tables for the room geometry and ceiling height; the AHJ has final say.
What this device is NOT
- Not a horn-strobe — this is a speaker-strobe. Horns and speakers serve different audio applications.
