The Edwards 4-NET-CAT is a network controller for the EST4 life safety platform. It provides a copper, CAT5e network connection for EST4 fire alarm panels. First, the controller plugs into an SFP slot on the 4-NET-AD module. Then it links panels across the EST4 network. As a result, it adds wired network capacity where copper cabling is used.
