The Farenhyt (ECS-125W) is an intelligent 125-watt amplifier for emergency communication systems. It delivers 125 watts of audio power for voice evacuation and emergency messaging. Specifically, it ships in a red cabinet with its own power supply and backup battery. As a result, it provides self-contained amplification for the system.
Farenhyt (ECS-125W) amplifier overview
This amplifier connects to the Farenhyt ECS panel over the SBUS network. In addition, it offers selectable 25 V or 70.7 V speaker output. It includes four onboard audio circuits. Also, the ECS-CE4 expander increases that count to eight.
You can install up to eight ECS-125W amplifiers per system. Therefore, total system power can reach 1,000 watts. Furthermore, each amplifier can mount up to 6,000 feet from the ECS panel. This flexibility helps cover large or spread-out buildings.
Compatibility and listings
The ECS-125W works with Farenhyt IFP-300ECS and IFP-2100ECS systems. Moreover, it complies with UL 864 10th Edition and UL 2572 2nd Edition. As a result, it meets NFPA 72 requirements for emergency communication.
