NOTIFIER (CHS-2D) Chassis To Mount Nca-2 In Abs-2D

The Notifier CHS-2D chassis mounts the NCA-2 network control annunciator into an ABS-2D backbox. First, it provides the standoff and alignment hardware the NCA-2 requires inside the ABS series enclosure. As a result, the annunciator sits at the correct depth for the door cutout and Lexan window.

Specifically, the NCA-2 must use this chassis whenever it is mounted in the ABS-2D, ABS-4D, or ABS-8D enclosures. In addition, the NCA-2Retro kit is required alongside the CHS-2D for retrofits where the original annunciator is being replaced.

Notifier CHS-2D chassis compatibility

First, the chassis pairs with the NCA-2 Network Control Annunciator. Then, the NCA-2 mounts in the center position of the ABS backbox. Furthermore, BMP-1 blank plates fill the side positions to complete the panel face.

For ACS-series annunciators, the CHS-2D is not required. Instead, ACS modules mount directly to the ABS series chassis rails.

What ships with the CHS-2D

The CHS-2D ships as a bare chassis with the mounting hardware required for NCA-2 installation. As a result, order the NCA-2, the ABS series backbox, and the BMP-1 blanks separately as the job requires.
