The Spectrex 794079 is a USB/RS485 converter kit for configuring Spectrex flame and gas detectors. First, it bridges a standard PC or laptop USB port to the detector’s RS-485 line. Therefore, technicians can connect quickly in the field or on the bench.
The kit pairs the converter with Spectrex Host software. As a result, you can read settings, run diagnostics, and reconfigure detectors. In addition, it works across the Spectrex 40/40 series flame detectors and other Spectrex devices.
