The Vesda VHX-0200 is a PC-Link high level interface for VESDAnet. Specifically, it links VESDAnet to a PC over an RS232 connection. First, the interface collects data from the VESDAnet network. Then, it passes that data to monitoring software on the PC.
This unit works with Xtralis VSM4 and VSC software. As a result, technicians can monitor and configure VESDA devices. However, the VHX-0200 has no modem capability. In addition, it connects through a VESDAnet socket card.
What the Vesda VHX-0200 does
A high level interface bridges VESDAnet and PC tools. Therefore, it centralizes monitoring of aspirating detectors. Furthermore, the Sliding Windows protocol suits Xtralis software packages. Also, the RS232 link keeps the connection simple.
