The Vesda 02-3000-06 is a stainless steel sample point. It works with aspirating smoke detection (ASD) systems. Specifically, it connects 1/4″ micro bore tubing to the VFT-15 detector.
First, the sample point draws air from the protected area. Then the tubing carries that sample to the detector. As a result, the system spots smoke at a very early stage.
