The Notifier 18439 chassis ships pre-installed in the BB-XP optional expansion cabinet. First, it provides a factory mounting plate for one or two add-on modules. As a result, installers gain extra board space outside the main FireWarden panel enclosure.
What the Notifier 18439 chassis does
The BB-XP cabinet uses this chassis to host expansion modules for the NFW-50X and NFW-100X intelligent addressable panels. For example, it can mount the ISO-6 six-fault isolator or the NZM-100-6 six-zone interface module. In addition, the chassis bolts into the BB-XP backbox using factory standoffs.
Where the BB-XP and 18439 chassis fit
The cabinet is wall-mount steel with a left-hinged, lockable door. Specifically, it ships fully assembled with the 18439 chassis already in place. Therefore, no separate chassis order is needed when adding the BB-XP to an NFW-50X or NFW-100X site.
