The Simplex 4090-9806 is a semi-flush trim plate for the 4090-9001 Supervised IAM. First, it covers the single-gang box that holds the module. In addition, a built-in light pipe lets technicians view the LED without removing the cover. Therefore, status checks proceed without disturbing the device.
Simplex 4090-9806 Mounting and Compatibility
The plate ships with mounting screws and finishes a semi-flush IAM installation. Specifically, it requires the 4090-9810 mounting bracket sold separately. Then, the bracket secures the IAM to the box and accepts the trim plate. Also, the assembly suits IDNet and MAPNET II addressable loops.
Physical and Material Details
The trim plate measures 4-1/4 in. (108 mm) wide by 2-1/2 in. (64 mm) tall. In addition, its depth is 2-13/16 in. (72 mm). The LED viewing light pipe spans 4-1/2 in. (114 mm). Furthermore, the plate is galvanized steel for long service in commercial environments.
