The Simplex 4100-9906 3-bay beige glass door retrofit kit installs 4100ES electronics into an existing fire alarm backbox. It saves you from replacing the backbox during a panel upgrade.
Specifically, this kit fits existing Simplex 2120, 2001, or earlier 4100-series three-bay backboxes. As a result, you can upgrade an aging panel to current 4100ES electronics without re-running conduit. The kit includes a glass-front metal door retainer plus box-extension hardware. Furthermore, the beige finish matches existing Simplex enclosures from the 2120/2001/4100 era.
