Resideo 956RPT-WH Recessed Roller Plunger Contact
The Resideo 956RPT-WH is a mini roller plunger door contact in white. First drill a 3/4 in hole in the door jamb. Then press the contact body into the hole. As the door closes, its edge rolls over the actuator and depresses the plunger.
The 956RPT-WH is a wired intrusion contact for burglary alarm zones. It is not a fire-alarm initiating device.

How the Roller Plunger Works
The Resideo 956RPT-WH replaces a magnet-and-reed pair on rolling or pivoting doors. As a result, it survives where misaligned magnets would not. Also, the staggered “T” terminals accept a standard screwdriver. Therefore, no splicing or soldering is needed at the contact.
The 180° activation range lets the actuator engage from any approach angle. For example, use it on overhead doors, swinging gates, and accordion partitions.
