The Notifier ABS-1TB is a deep, surface-mount backbox for one ACS Series annunciator module. First, the extra depth makes room for the AKS-1B Annunciator Key Switch alongside the module. As a result, it is the right choice when key-switch control is required at a remote drop.
Why choose the Notifier ABS-1TB
Unlike the shallower ABS-1B, the ABS-1TB will mount the AKS-1B Key Switch. Specifically, it accepts a single ACM-24AT, ACM-48A, or AEM expander module. In addition, an earlier gray ABS-1TB exists, but only the current black version fits the ACM/AEM-24AT and ACM/AEM-48A.
Where it fits
The ABS-1TB is part of the ONYX ACS Series remote annunciator family. Therefore, it pairs with NFS2-3030, NFS2-640, NFS-320, NCA-2, and legacy AM2020/AFP1010 panels. Also, ACS annunciators can sit up to 6,000 ft from the panel on the EIA-485 trunk.
