The Notifier ABS-2D backbox is a surface or semi-flush mount enclosure for Notifier annunciators and control modules. First, it accepts ACS annunciators. Then, it also fits SCS Series, NCA, and NCA-2 black variants.
In addition, the ABS-2D is the black-finish variant. As a result, it pairs with the NCA-2 black annunciator for a uniform appearance.
Notifier ABS-2D Backbox Mounting
The enclosure supports two mounting configurations. Specifically, you can install it as a surface-mount cabinet. Alternatively, you can semi-flush mount it with the optional TR-ABS2D trim ring.
However, semi-flush mount requires clearance. Specifically, the trim ring needs at least 0.875 inches (22.225 mm) between the wall surface and the front of the enclosure.
