The Altronix AL1012ULXB is a UL Listed 12VDC at 10A power supply/charger board. It supplies regulated DC power for access control, CCTV, and general security systems.
Specifically, the board converts 115VAC, 60Hz mains into a single 12VDC output. Then, an integrated charger maintains a backup SLA or gel battery. As a result, the supply transitions seamlessly to battery on AC loss. In addition, three Form C supervision contacts report AC fail, low battery, and battery-presence status to the host panel. Therefore, the supply integrates cleanly into supervised security systems.

Important Application Note — Not a Fire-Alarm Power Supply
The AL1012ULXB is positioned for access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and other general security loads. However, this is not a UL 864 fire-alarm power supply. Therefore, do not install the AL1012ULXB inside a UL 864 listed fire alarm control unit. Alternatively, ask about Altronix’s UL 864 9th-edition product family for fire-alarm DC power needs.
