The Fire-Lite ANN-LC is a Lite-Connect fiber module for Fire-Lite addressable panels. It links panels over fiber-optic cable. Specifically, it lets one MS-9050UD act as the central station communicator for several panels.
In addition, Lite-Connect consolidates reporting to a single phone line. As a result, building owners cut the number of dedicated communication lines.
How the Fire-Lite ANN-LC Connects Panels
The module uses 62.5/125 multimode fiber with LC connectors. Therefore, each link tolerates up to 5 dB of attenuation. Specifically, that allows up to 3.1 miles (5 km) between cards.
Furthermore, one main MS-9050UD connects to up to 16 remote panels. These include MS-9050UD and MS-9200UDLS units. Each module ships with a hardware kit. First, it includes a ground cable and a 21-inch ribbon cable. Then it adds two hex nuts and a self-tapping screw.
