The Notifier CHS-M3 mounting chassis is the dedicated chassis for the NFS-3030 family CPU and the NCA-2 network annunciator. Specifically, it provides the structural and electrical mount for the CPU-3030, CPU2-3030, and NCA-2. As a result, integrators install the CHS-M3 before adding the CPU or NCA-2 board to a CAB-4 cabinet row.
What the Notifier CHS-M3 mounting chassis is for
The CHS-M3 carries the main processor or network annunciator board. In addition, it includes the pre-drilled mounting points that align those boards to the host cabinet. Therefore, only the matching CPU or NCA-2 needs to be added to complete the installation.
Where it fits
The CHS-M3 mounts inside a CAB-4 series cabinet row. Furthermore, it is specifically required for the CPU-3030, CPU2-3030, and NCA-2. However, it is not interchangeable with the CHS-4 transponder chassis or the CHS-6 chassis for XP6 modules.
