The Ditek DTK-120SRD is a 120VAC, 20A series-connected surge protective device with Form C dry contacts. Specifically, it combines surge suppression with EMI/RFI filtering in a single hybrid module.
First, wire the DTK-120SRD in series with the 120V power feed to the protected load. Then, the multi-stage hybrid circuit clamps transients and filters high-frequency noise. As a result, the DTK-120SRD delivers clean, protected power to fire alarm panels and other critical equipment.

Typical Application
Use the DTK-120SRD where service interruption from a failed parallel SPD is unacceptable. However, the device itself is not UL 864 listed. Therefore, do not substitute it for a fire-alarm primary power source.
