The Edwards BPS10A is a 10-amp remote booster power supply. It adds 24 VDC filtered-regulated power and notification appliance circuits (NACs) to an existing fire alarm system.
The BPS10A is used when the host panel runs out of NAC current. As a result, large buildings can expand notification coverage without replacing the main panel. In addition, the booster supports auxiliary 24 VDC loads such as door holders and access control devices.
Capacity of the Edwards BPS10A
Total output is 10 amperes at 24 VDC. Each of the four NAC circuits is rated at 3 A maximum. Therefore, the booster handles four loaded circuits up to the 10 A combined ceiling.

Compatible Panels
The BPS10A activation inputs accept any 6-45 VDC filtered-regulated source, or 11-33 VDC full-wave rectified. As a result, it works with EST3, EST3X, iO64, iO500, iO1000, FireShield Plus, and other Edwards panels that can drive a NAC. It is also driven directly by Signature Series control modules.
