Edwards EST (SIGA-HRD) Intelligent Fixed Temp Heat Detector

The Edwards SIGA-HRD is an intelligent fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise heat detector. It combines two heat-sensing methods in one Signature Series addressable device.

First, the rate-of-rise function trips at a 15°F (9°C) per minute rise. As a result, fast-developing fires are caught early. Then the fixed-temperature function trips at 135°F (57°C). Therefore, slow-building heat events also produce an alarm.

The SIGA-HRD reports its status continuously to the Signature Loop Controller. In addition, it runs self-diagnostics and stores results in non-volatile memory. As a result, technicians can pull a maintenance history right from the panel.

Compatible Panels

The SIGA-HRD works only with Edwards panels equipped with a Signature Loop Controller. Specifically, it is supported on EST3, EST3X, iO64, iO500, and QuickStart Signature panels.

Compatible Mounting Bases

Choose the base that fits the application. Use SIGA-SB or SIGA-SB4 for standard mounting. For relay output, use SIGA-RB or SIGA-RB4. For Class A short isolation, use SIGA-IB or SIGA-IB4. For local sounder output, use SIGA-AB4G, SIGA-AB4GT, or SIGA-AB4G-LF.
