The Edwards SIGA-CRR Polarity Reversal Relay Module is a Signature Series intelligent addressable output module. Specifically, its 24 VDC output reverses polarity on command from the loop controller. As a result, this drives a group of SIGA-AB4G Audible Sounder Bases on the data loop.
Importantly, the “polarity reversal” in this module’s name refers to the audible-base power circuit. Therefore, it is not a city-tie or municipal reverse-polarity reporting module. Instead, technicians use it strictly within Signature Series notification design.
Loop function
- Signature Series output module with factory-set Personality Code 8.
- Uses one module address on the SLC.
- LEDs: green flashes when polled; red illuminates when active.
