The Edwards SIGA-TS4 trim skirt is a passive cosmetic accessory for 4-inch Signature Series detector bases. First, it snaps over the base. Then it covers the box mounting ears, conduit knockouts, and any surface imperfections around the electrical box.
Specifically, the TS4 is designed for 4-inch square box installations. In addition, it ships included with every 4″ Signature base and can be purchased separately as a replacement or spare.
What it fits
- SIGA-SB4 standard 4″ detector base.
- SIGA-RB4 relay base (4″).
- SIGA-IB4 fault isolator base (4″).
- Other 4″ Signature base variants in the same family.
What it does not fit
The SIGA-TS4 covers 4-inch SQUARE box installations only. Therefore, octagon-box installations require the (non-numbered) SIGA-TS skirt instead. Furthermore, this is a detector-base trim, not a notification appliance trim.

The TS4 is a passive accessory. As a result, it carries no agency listing of its own. Instead, the listing applies to the host detector base.
Typical use case
First, the installer mounts the 4″ Signature base to the electrical box. Then the trim skirt snaps over the base to dress the finished ceiling or wall. Finally, the smoke or heat detector head is twist-locked onto the base.
