The Honeywell EPSA40-1P is a supervisory pressure switch for sprinkler systems. Specifically, it signals a discharge event in wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action systems. As a result, it provides early notification of a sprinkler activation.
The EPSA40-1P is part of the EPSA40 series. Therefore, it shares the same NEMA 4 enclosure used across that family. In addition, the pressure adjustment wheel is field-adjustable without special tools.
Honeywell EPSA40-1P Specifications
First, the field-adjustable pressure range is 10 to 100 PSI. The unit is factory-set for a nominal 40 PSI system. Then, a diaphragm actuates a snap-action switch as pressure changes. Furthermore, the housing carries NEMA 4 ratings.
Also, the adjustment wheel does not affect switch synchronization. Therefore, field calibration is straightforward. The EPSA40-1P uses a single-pole switch configuration.
