The Farenhyt IDP-MONITOR-10 is a ten-point addressable monitor module for fire alarm systems. It acts as an interface to contact devices. Specifically, it monitors inputs such as waterflow switches and pull stations. As a result, one module brings many contacts onto the addressable loop.
Farenhyt IDP-MONITOR-10 module overview
This module supports ten Class B inputs or five Class A inputs. In addition, it can monitor conventional four-wire smoke detectors. As a result, the panel sees both alarm and trouble conditions from those detectors. Also, each input is supervised.
The IDP-MONITOR-10 communicates over the two-wire SLC loop. Therefore, it integrates with Farenhyt IDP addressable control panels. For example, it works with the IFP-50, IFP-100/ECS, IFP-1000/ECS, and IFP-2000/ECS. This module is UL Listed for fire alarm use.
Typical applications
Use the IDP-MONITOR-10 where many monitored points sit close together. For example, riser rooms often group several waterflow and tamper switches. Finally, the module reduces the number of separate modules needed.
