The Gentex GEC24-1575WW is a 24 VDC horn/strobe with a fixed 15/75 candela strobe. First, the strobe meets ANSI/UL 1971 at 15 cd. Then, at 75 cd it meets ANSI/UL 1638. Finally, the horn is ANSI/UL 464 listed.
In addition, the unit ships in a white wall-mount housing. As a result, it blends with most interior finishes.
Gentex GEC24-1575WW Audible Output
The horn produces 70–82 dBA reverberant sound at 10 feet. However, in an anechoic test it reaches 100 dBA. Also, the tone is field-selectable. Specifically, you can choose high or low frequency, high or low volume, and temporal Code-3 or continuous patterns.

Installation Notes
First, mount the metal plate to the back box. Then, set the candela and tone DIP switches on the back of the head. Finally, attach the appliance to the plate.
Therefore, retrofits are straightforward. However, for outdoor or weatherproof installs, choose a Gentex outdoor-listed model instead.
