The Gamewell ILI-S-E3 is the Intelligent Loop Interface Expansion Board for the E3 Series fire alarm control panel. First, it adds two electrically isolated signaling line circuits to an E3 system. In addition, the ILI-S-E3 occupies a single node on the E3 broadband network. As a result, larger sites can grow device counts without adding panels.
Gamewell ILI-S-E3 SLC capacity
Each ILI-S-E3 provides two SLCs. Furthermore, in Velociti mode each SLC supports up to 159 detectors, 159 modules, and 159 addressable sounder bases. In CLIP mode, each SLC supports 99 detectors and 99 modules. Therefore, a single expansion board can address several hundred devices depending on mode.
Network
The board uses a network-ready 625K baud ARCNET connection on the E3 broadband network. Also, the layout is similar to the ILI-MB-E3 main board but with several components omitted. Therefore, the ILI-S-E3 functions as the expansion sibling of the ILI-MB-E3.
Compliance
The ILI-S-E3 is built to UL 864 10th Edition. In addition, it complies with UL 2572 for mass notification system equipment. As a result, the board fits into E3 Series fire and combined fire/mass notification deployments.
