The KIDDE COMMERCIAL MPSR1-SHTW-GE is a single-action weatherproof manual pull station from the Kidde MPSR Series. Specifically, it is the SPST contact, hex-screw-reset model with terminal connections.
First, the station body is solid die-cast material with pre-painted or plated surfaces to inhibit corrosion. Then, the supplied gasketed single-gang backbox makes it NEMA 4X rated for outdoor use. As a result, the MPSR1-SHTW-GE handles exterior fire alarm activation points where standard indoor stations would fail.
In addition, a 10 A snap-action switch with gold-plated contacts handles both 24 VDC fire alarm IDC supervision and higher-voltage signaling. Furthermore, a hex key (provided) is required to reset and re-lock the station after activation.
