The Kidde EVOLVE-ML-G is a four-loop intelligent fire alarm control panel with a grey door. It anchors the Evolve Series system. First, the panel includes one built-in 250-point device loop. Then, you expand it to four loops and 1,000 addresses.
Kidde EVOLVE-ML-G panel overview
Each loop supports up to 125 detectors and 125 modules. In addition, the panel provides four configurable Class A/B notification appliance circuits. Also, a 10-inch LCD touchscreen drives the user interface. As a result, technicians view up to eight events without scrolling.
Power and connectivity
A 10-amp switching power supply with Voltage Boost feeds the system. Furthermore, a built-in Ethernet port supports central-station monitoring under NFPA 72 Chapter 26. The panel also includes a USB-C port for programming with EVOLVE-CU. Therefore, setup and diagnostics stay straightforward.
Smart addressing and retrofit
Electronic addressing and automatic device mapping remove manual dipswitch work. In addition, the panel supports up to 30 serial annunciators. It also runs on 120/240 VAC mains power. Finally, it stays backward compatible with existing VS2 and VS4 wiring and backboxes.
