The Notifier NFC-RPU remote paging unit is an optional console for the NFC-50/100(E) FirstCommand Emergency Voice Evacuation panel. Specifically, it extends paging and message control to a remote location. As a result, security desks, fire command rooms, and lobby stations can issue announcements. Therefore, staff do not need to stand at the primary console for routine pages.
The unit ships in a black cabinet with a keyed thumb lock. Furthermore, the lock restricts access to qualified personnel. In addition, the NFC-RPU includes a hand-held microphone with push-to-talk and 14 programmable message buttons. Also, one extra button activates a monitor module for functions such as HVAC shutdown. Therefore, building staff get a compact control point for live and pre-recorded announcements.
