The Notifier UDACT-2 is the current-generation Universal Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter. It connects a Notifier fire alarm control panel to a UL-listed central monitoring station. As a result, alarm, trouble, and supervisory events are reported off-site in real time.
The UDACT-2 transmits over the public switched telephone network (POTS) using two independent telephone lines. Therefore, if one line is cut or fails, the communicator can still report through the second path. In addition, the panel monitors each line for trouble.

Compatible Panels
The UDACT-2 is designed for Notifier ONYX series panels. Specifically, it works with NFS-320, NFS2-640, NFS-3030, and NFS2-3030. In addition, it works with legacy AFP-200, AFP-300, AFP-400, and AFP-1010 panels. Confirm panel firmware before ordering for older AFP installations.
