The Notifier UDACT Universal Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter is the original first-generation communicator module designed for Notifier ONYX fire alarm control panels. The UDACT transmits alarm, supervisory, and trouble signals from the fire alarm control panel to a UL-listed central monitoring station via POTS telephone lines.

The UDACT is a legacy product. For new installations or upgrades, the UDACT-2 is the current-production communicator. This unit is available for direct replacement in existing Notifier ONYX systems where the original UDACT is installed and an exact replacement is required.
