The Potter Electric Signal PAD100-DRTS is a supervised duct remote test switch for fire alarm systems. First, it pairs with a PAD100-DUCTR duct detector. Then, it gives a tech remote access to test the detector. As a result, building staff can verify duct detector operation without climbing to the duct.
Potter Electric Signal PAD100-DRTS function
The PAD100-DRTS does not consume an SLC loop address. Instead, it wires directly to the host PAD100-DUCTR detector. Specifically, one PAD100-DRTS per PAD100-DUCTR is supported. The key switch lets a tech trigger a test cycle on the duct detector. In addition, Active and Pilot LEDs provide local status indication.
The key matches the Potter fire alarm control panel key. Therefore, building staff already carrying the panel key can also test duct detectors.

Status indication
The PAD100-DRTS provides clear local indication of duct detector state. Specifically, the green Pilot LED confirms power to the host detector. In addition, the red Active LED illuminates when the detector goes into alarm. Therefore, technicians can confirm both supervision and alarm conditions at a glance.
