The Potter Electric Signal PAD300-CD is an analog addressable carbon monoxide detector. Specifically, it monitors CO gas for life safety in commercial buildings. Moreover, it works with panels that use the Potter Addressable Device (PAD) protocol. As a result, it adds dedicated CO detection to an addressable system.
Potter Electric Signal PAD300-CD sensing
First, the detector uses a proven electrochemical cell to sense carbon monoxide. In addition, the detector and panel communicate over a robust digital path. Therefore, the system analyzes data at each device. Also, total polling time stays under five seconds, well within UL limits.
Installation and listings
The PAD300-CD is addressed with DIP switches on the rear of the detector. As a result, technicians can program it in the field without special tools. The housing is durable off-white plastic to blend with the ceiling. Then pair it with a PAD300-4DB or PAD300-6DB base for a low profile under two inches. Note that the base is sold separately. Finally, the PAD300-CD is listed to UL 2075.
