Altronix (PD4ULCB) Ul power distrib unit w/cb

The Altronix PD4ULCB is a UL-Listed sub-assembly power distribution board. Specifically, it converts a single AC or DC input from an upstream power supply into four PTC-protected, auto-resettable Class 2 power-limited outputs.

First, the PD4ULCB accepts 12 or 24VDC up to 10 A, or 24 or 28VAC up to 12 A, from the host power supply. Then, four on-board PTCs split that bus into four 2 A power-limited outputs. In addition, each PTC auto-resets after the fault clears, eliminating the fuse-replacement service call. As a result, integrators get clean output isolation without sacrificing serviceability.

Furthermore, the PD4ULCB carries UL 294 (Access Control), UL 603 (Burglar Alarm), and UL 1481 (Fire Alarm). Also, cUL coverage includes CSA C22.2 No. 205-M1983 General Signaling Equipment and ULC-S318 Power Supplies for Burglar Alarm Systems. Therefore, the PD4ULCB is a true fire-listed sub-assembly when paired with a listed host power supply.

Sub-Assembly Use Note

However, the PD4ULCB is a UL Listed sub-assembly, not a stand-alone product. Specifically, it must be installed inside a listed Altronix enclosure (for example BC100, or as the factory module inside an AL600ULPD4CB / AL600ULXPD4CB) and powered by the matching listed PSU. Therefore, the system listing flows through the assembled cabinet, not through the board alone.
