The Edwards RC-BRKT is a redundant command center relay bracket for Edwards fire alarm control infrastructure. First, the bracket provides a physical mounting point for relay modules inside a redundant command-center cabinet. Then, the relays it supports route system events between primary and standby command equipment.

This bracket is a passive mounting accessory. Specifically, it provides no electrical interface of its own. In addition, agency compliance flows through the parent fire alarm control panel and the relay modules mounted to the bracket.

Specification Notes

Edwards does not publish a standalone datasheet for the RC-BRKT. As a result, the specs in older LSC copy (cold-rolled steel, EIA 19-inch rack, UL 268, UL 464, NFPA 72 compliance) cannot be verified against a primary source and have been removed from this rewrite. Furthermore, installers should confirm physical fit against the specific Edwards command-center cabinet before ordering. The RC-BRKT is not interchangeable with the MN-BRKT Series (MNEC mounting brackets) or the 4-BRKT-CS/4-BRKT-CB series (EST4 panel brackets).

Application Notes

Redundant command-center designs are typically used in mission-critical facilities. However, the specific Edwards panel families that pair with the RC-BRKT are not documented in publicly available Edwards literature. Therefore, this bracket should be ordered only when its application is confirmed against existing installation drawings or Edwards engineering support.
