The Edwards RLED-CR is a Remote LED Zone Annunciator with Common Indicators and Common Controls for the QuickStart QS1 and compatible fire alarm panels. First, the annunciator provides 16 zone groups, each with two LEDs, for displaying alarm and trouble. Then, common-control switches let an operator reset, silence, and drill from the remote location.

This annunciator is part of the R-Series family. Specifically, it ships in a red housing with English labeling. In addition, the unit mounts to a standard 4-inch square electrical box using the included mounting ring. Furthermore, it can be surface-mounted inside the RA-ENC1 single-unit enclosure for tamper-resistant installations.

Compatibility and Ordering Notes

The RLED-CR is QuickStart-and-compatible. Therefore, it interfaces with QS1 panels via the NT-A (Class A) or QS-232 (Class B) option card. In addition, related variants include the RLED-C (gray, English) and the RLED24/RLED24R zone-expander cards. However, the RLED-CR is not interchangeable with the EST3 3-EVxxx or 3-12RY display modules — those are EST3-specific, not R-Series. Furthermore, the RKEY keyswitch is an optional accessory that allows key-operated enable or disable of common-control switches.
