RSG RMS-2P-WP-LPA with Lift and Pull Cover/Agent Release

The RSG RMS-2P-WP-LPA is a DPST pigtail-lead-connection weatherproof manual pull station with the Lift-and-Pull cover with Agent release contact (LPA) option. Furthermore, it suits outdoor commercial fire alarm circuits that also need a release-output signal.

First, the LPA configuration adds an extra contact set for an agent-release function. Then, the station can signal a fire alarm and a separate release output. As a result, integrators can wire the LPA to suppression or shutdown circuits.

In addition, the WP housing keeps both contact sets and the cover sealed against weather. However, the agent-release contact must be wired to a panel input designed for that purpose. Therefore, confirm panel I/O before specifying.

RSG RMS-2P-WP-LPA Option Detail

The LPA option provides a second contact for agent-release or auxiliary functions. Furthermore, the lift-and-pull cover and local sounder remain active for nuisance-pull deterrence. As a result, the WP housing protects both the alarm and release paths in exterior installations.

For surface mounting outdoors, use the RMS-WP-BB weatherproof back box. Alternatively, use the RMS-DBB deep back box where extra depth is needed. In addition, the RMS-GR glass rod is the standard replacement rod for break-glass operation.
