RSG RMS-3P-KO SPDT Pull Station Key Operated

The RSG RMS-3P-KO is an SPDT pigtail-connection manual pull station with the Key-Operated / Institutional (KO) option. Furthermore, it suits commercial fire alarm circuits in restricted-access facilities.

First, the KO configuration replaces the pull lever with a keyed actuator. Then, only staff carrying the key can activate the station. As a result, casual users cannot trigger the alarm.

In addition, KO is widely used in schools, correctional facilities, and behavioral-health units. However, key control depends entirely on site procedures. Therefore, confirm staffing and key-control practices before specifying.

RSG RMS-3P-KO Option Detail

The KO option replaces the standard pull handle with a keyed actuator. Furthermore, the SPDT switch supports normally-open and normally-closed contacts. As a result, the station only activates when an authorized key is inserted and turned.

For surface mounting, use the RMS-BB indoor back box. Alternatively, use the RMS-DBB deep back box where extra depth is needed. In addition, the RMS-GR glass rod is the standard replacement rod for break-glass operation.
