The RSG RMS-3P-LP is an SPDT pigtail-connection manual pull station with a Lift-and-Pull (LP) dual-action cover. Furthermore, it suits commercial fire alarm circuits where accidental pulls are a concern.
First, the user lifts the cover. Then, the lever pulls down to activate the alarm. As a result, the two-step motion reduces nuisance activations.
In addition, LP covers are common at school corridors and public exits. However, the SPDT switch lets the station wire into either polarity convention. Therefore, confirm the cover clears any flush trim before specifying.
RSG RMS-3P-LP Option Detail
The LP option adds a clear lift-and-pull cover over the lever. Furthermore, the SPDT switch supports normally-open and normally-closed contacts. As a result, the station resists accidental activation in either wiring style.
