RSG SP-1-WP-GCS Weatherproof Pull Station with Gold Contacts

The RSG SP-1-WP-GCS is the weatherproof single-pole SP Series pull station with the GCS gold-contact option. Specifically, the GCS suffix specifies gold-plated contacts for low-current signaling. Furthermore, the SP-1 base uses a normally-open toggle switch.

First, the gold contacts resist oxidation in low-voltage addressable loops. Then, the standard pull motion initiates an alarm just like the standard SP-1-WP. As a result, the station delivers reliable signaling at the milliamp levels typical of modern addressable IDC.
