The Secutron MRI-4001 is a 6-inch detector base. It interfaces MRI-4000 Series intelligent addressable detectors to the SLC line. As a result, installers can pre-wire the base during construction and add the detector later, once the area is clean.
First, the open-style design simplifies wiring. In addition, the low-pressure docking feature lets technicians seat the detector with one hand. Furthermore, the base includes an Anti-Tamper feature for the detector head.
Where the Secutron MRI-4001 Fits
Specifically, the MRI-4001 supports ceiling or wall mounting. Also, a 4-inch variant (MRI-4002) is available for tighter ceilings. Choose the MRI-4001 when you need the full 6-inch footprint for tamper or labelling clearance.
A breakable flat tab in the center of the base accepts a label. Therefore, technicians can identify the address of every device on the loop without opening it up.
