The Siemens CSM-4 is an addressable controllable signal module for Siemens fire alarm panels. First, the panel commands the module over the addressable loop. Then the module switches its notification appliance circuit on or off as ordered.

As a result, horns, strobes, and other notification appliances can be controlled individually by panel logic. This supports zoned evacuation, voice cutout, and selective signaling strategies.
