The Simplex 2004-9101 power supply is a conventional fire alarm control panel with four Class B initiating device circuits (IDCs) and one notification appliance circuit (NAC).
First, the panel monitors four independent Class B IDC zones for initiating devices. Then it drives one NAC for horns, strobes, or other notification appliances. In addition, the NAC can be wired Class B or Class A. Therefore, installers can match the panel to either supervised or supervised-with-return circuit requirements.
What the Simplex 2004-9101 Power Supply Provides
The unit includes a 3-amp power supply with an integrated battery charger. As a result, the panel can power compatible field devices and maintain standby batteries without an external supply.
IDC Capabilities
Each of the four Class B IDCs has individual zone disable. Also, the IDCs can monitor two-wire initiating devices, including Simplex TrueAlarm two-wire smoke detectors.
