The Simplex 4009-9601 is a 4009 IDNAC Repeater in a platinum cabinet. It extends the wiring distance of an IDNAC signaling line circuit on TrueAlertES addressable notification systems.
First, the repeater accepts 120/240 VAC, 50/60 Hz input with auto-select. Then it regenerates the IDNAC SLC and delivers up to 3 A of output power. In addition, it provides a 200 mA auxiliary output and an on-board battery charger. As a result, the wiring distance supported by an Extended Power Supply (EPS or EPS+) doubles.
The repeater wires in either Class A or Class B configuration. Therefore, it adapts to the host system’s survivability requirements. Furthermore, the unit needs one IDNAC SLC address to operate.
Simplex 4009-9601 Topology
One repeater can be wired in series with the host SLC. Alternatively, up to five repeaters can be connected in parallel.
