The Simplex 4098-5601 is a conventional photoelectric smoke detector head listed to UL 268. Unlike the addressable TrueAlarm family, the 4098-5601 operates on a conventional two-wire or four-wire base circuit, making it the right replacement part for existing conventional Simplex installations. The detector head is separate from the base, allowing field replacement of the sensing element without disturbing wiring. Dimensions: 2″ × 2″ × 2″; weight 0.10 lbs.
