The Simplex 4098-9792E is a TrueAlarm sensor base in the “E” configuration. First, it mounts a Simplex TrueAlarm photoelectric or heat sensor head. Then it links that sensor to the fire alarm panel through one wire pair. As a result, power and data both travel over MAPNET II or IDNet wiring.

This base provides the standard mounting and communication platform for a plug-in TrueAlarm sensor. Specifically, the sensor head twist-locks into the base for fast installation.
